The You're Darn Tootin' tent of the Sons of Desert was founded in Mobile, Alabama to share members' appreciation with the comedy genius of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. The tent's meetings are held every other month at the Playhouse-in-the-Park in Mobile's Langan Park. This theatre is a terrific venue to hold our meetings as it is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and big screen projection systems. If you have never watched a Laurel and Hardy classic in a theater, come join us and enjoy the boys on the big screen while you relax in comfortable theater seating.

Our next meeting will be at 2:30 on Sunday, August 29. We'll start off with the great Charley Chase comedy Mighty Like a Moose (1926), then segue into a nautical theme with Stan and Ollie as sailors in Men o' War (1929). Adventure on the high seas continues with Our Gang in Three Men in a Tub (1938) and closes with the boys as fish peddlers trying to overhaul a fishing boat in Towed in a Hole (1933).

Playhouse-In-The-Park located directly across from the Mobile Museum of Art in Mobile's Langan Park for a knee-slapping good time.  Everyone is welcome and admission is free.
